| dc.description | Introducció: El tabac és la substància amb la qual els adolescents mantenen un contacte més precoç seguit de l'alcohol i el cànnabis, observant l'edat mitjana d'inici de consum entre els 13-14 anys. Promoure estils de vida saludables en joves, és rellevant donat que es tracta d'una etapa decisiva en la consolidació de comportaments. /nObjectius: Descriure el consum de tabac, alcohol i altres drogues dels estudiants de 3r i 4t d'ESO i 1r i 2n de Batxillerat de l'IES Domènec Perramon d'Arenys de Munt./nMaterial i mètodes: Estudi descriptiu transversal de dos mesos de duració, sobre una mostra de 175 estudiants de 14-18 anys. Es va utilitzar un qüestionari autoadministrat, anònim i voluntari que contenia les següents variables principals: factors rellevants del consum de tabac, alcohol y altres drogues, la percepció de risc per la salut davant el consum i els coneixements bàsics sobre cada substància. /nResultats: L'edat mitjana de la mostra és de 15,5 anys. El 59,4% dels estudiants han provat alguna vegada el tabac. Són fumadors habituals el 43,8%, dels quals consumeixen diàriament el 41,3%, ocasionalment el 28,3% i esporàdicament el 30,4%. El consum de tabac i alcohol mantenen una associació molt estreta, l'edat mitjana d'inici de consum de les dues substàncies és de13-14 anys. El 77,7% de la mostra ha provat alguna vegada begudes alcohòliques i el 78,8% d'aquests, actualment també en consumeixen. El 36% de la mostra ha consumit alguna vegada drogues il•legals. S'observa una associació significativa (p<0,05) entre el consum de drogues i l'hàbit de fumar. /nConclusions: El consum de tabac, alcohol i cànnabis entre els adolescents segueix essent elevat. Els resultats de l'anàlisi del consum de substàncies entre els joves, emfatitzen la necessitat de crear o millorar les activitats dirigides a la prevenció del consum precoç d'aquestes substàncies. | |

Promoting healthy lifestyles in young people is important,considering that it’s a decisive period in the behavior consolidation./nObjective: Describe the consumption of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs of the students of 3rd and 4th"ESO", and 1st and 2nd "Batxillerat" of the secondary school "IES Domènec Perramon"from Arenys de Munt./nMaterial and methods: Sectional descriptive study of the duration of two months, with a sample size of 175 students between 14-18 years. We used a self-administered questionnaire, anonymous and voluntary that contained the following main variables: the relevant factors of smoking, alcohol and other drugs, perception of the health risk to the consumer and basic knowledge of each substance./nResults: The average age of the study participants is 15,5 years. The 59,4%of the students have tried smoking at least once. Smokers are 43,8%, from which 41,3% are consuming daily, occasionally 28,3% and 30,4% from time to time. Tobacco and alcohol keep a very close association; the average age of the consumer beginning of these substances is 13-14 years. The 77,7% of the sample has tried sometimes alcohol and 78,8% of those are also currently consuming. From the sample, 36%of the studentshas used sometimesillegal drugs. We can observe a significant association (p<0,05) between drug use and smoking./nConclusions: The consumption of tobacco, alcohol and cannabis among adolescents remains high. The results from the analysis of the substances consumption amongyoung people emphasize the need to create or improve the activities aimed to the prevention of early consumption of these substances. | |
