SON-SOLUTIONS: Business Plan
Abstract
SON-SOLUTIONS is a sustainable solutions enterprise. It is a single-member company.
The business covers the need for businesses in low sustainable level industries to be
competitive today and create long-term value by using a sustainability strategy through
new products and new markets.
To provide this value proposition to business1 SON-SOLUTION will make use of different
push and pull strategies to acquire new clients. The customer relationships of SONSOLUTIONS are based in a long-term relationship strategy, offering solutions to different
products, by using the knowledge of its human capital about environmentally friendly or
sustainable products. Moreover, the revenue stream is going to come from selling the
patents of the products to its clients and offering advertisement service of these to the
final customer. Therefore, human capital and intellectual property are key resources for
the enterprise, and the key activities of SON-SOLUTIONS are problem-solving2 and
marketing activities.
The first product developed by SON-SOLUTIONS is a more environmentally-friendly
product for the tobacco industry called D-Filter. It consists of a biodegradable filter that
has a small seed inside for an industrial cigarette. This filter does not reduce smoking
consumption, yet lowers the negative environmental impact, and allows a plant to grow
when the cigarette butt is properly discarded of. Finally, the final cigarettes could be
manufactured in an unbleached paper and packed in a fully biodegradable pack due
to the non-usage of transparent plastics and cigarette box bleach.
